Cooler-than-normal temperatures will continue in Pasadena through Tuesday before a gradual warming trend later in the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunny skies and highs near 91 degrees are forecast Monday, with southeast winds shifting southwest in the afternoon. Overnight lows will fall to around 60 degrees under mostly clear skies.
Tuesday will bring similar conditions, with highs near 91 degrees and calm winds turning southwest by afternoon. Wednesday will see a slight increase, with highs near 92 degrees and light breezes.
Forecasters said highs will remain 3 to 6 degrees below seasonal averages early in the week before moderating. Thursday will be cooler, with highs near 84 degrees, before rebounding into the upper 80s Friday and Saturday.
Rain chances enter the forecast Saturday, with a slight chance of showers during the day and a better chance Saturday night into Sunday. Probabilities remain low, around 20 percent, but residents are advised to monitor updates.
Winds will stay light throughout the week, generally around 5 mph, with occasional offshore flow Wednesday morning. Evening breezes will continue but remain below advisory levels.
The weekend outlook calls for highs near 88 degrees Saturday and 89 degrees Sunday, with partly sunny skies and scattered showers possible. Lows will range from 61 to 65 degrees.
Forecasters said any tropical moisture influence remains uncertain, but the most likely impacts will be increased humidity and stronger swells along the Southern California coast.
