Councilmember Jones to Hold District 3 Meeting on Tuesday

District 3 City Councilmember Justin Jones will hold a District 3 Community Meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 in the Robinson Park Recreation Center, multipurpose room 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.

The meeting will contain updates from City Manager Miguel Márquez and Fire Chief Chad Augustin on emergency preparedness and the Eaton Fire.

At least 18 people died in the fire and more than 9,000 buildings were destroyed in Pasadena and Altadena. In total the fire burned more than 14,000 acres.

The City’s new Public Works Director Greg de Vinck will also be in attendance.

The event will also include an update on local housing regulations and a presentation by the Rent Stabilization Department.

Artists Deborah Aschheim and Carla Jay Harris will present their community research and early concepts for the Robinson Park Recreation Center Public Art Project.
