Councilmember Justin Jones to Host Annual Career and Resource Fair at Robinson Park Sept. 10

Job seekers looking to enter the workforce, shift careers, or sharpen their professional skills will have direct access to local employers and expert workshops next week.

Councilmember Justin Jones and the Foothill Workforce Development Board will host the 2026 Career and Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Robinson Park Recreation Center, 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.

The event will feature hiring managers from a variety of industries recruiting for both entry-level and professional roles.

“My first paid job was as a City of Pasadena ROSE Program intern — it sparked my eventual career in civil engineering. Connecting our residents directly with local employers and concrete job tools is vital to building an equitable, thriving Pasadena,” Jones said. “Whether someone is looking for their first position, returning to the job market, or making a career transition, this fair is designed to provide actionable support right in our neighborhood.”

In addition to meeting directly with hiring representatives, job seekers can attend dedicated skill-building workshops tailored to key steps in the hiring process:

To accommodate different schedules, workshop sessions will run in two distinct time slots:

First Session: 9 to 10 a.m.
Second Session: 11 a.m. to noon

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register online ahead of time at Bit.ly/FWDB2026 or by scanning the QR code on event materials. Walk-ins are also welcome.
