Tuesday night, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who represents Pasadena on the Board of Supervisors, celebrated her victory over two opponents with a gathering of her supporters in Pasadena.
“I am grateful to the voters of Los Angeles County, 5th District, for providing me with what looks like a very promising night,” Barger said in a text. “I also congratulate my opponents for stepping into the arena and reminding voters that we live in a world of choices and government that serves the people.”
No incumbent county supervisor has been voted out of office since 1980.
