Drum Corps International Returns to Rose Bowl Stadium

World Class and Open Class corps set to perform at premier Southern California event

Drum Corps International will return to the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on July 12 with 15 corps scheduled to perform at what organizers call the premier DCI event in Southern California.

The event begins at 4:45 p.m., with doors opening at 3:45 p.m. The lineup includes World Class and Open Class corps from across the country.

Among the featured performers are the Blue Devils from Concord, California, along with their “B” and “C” corps. The Boston Crusaders will make a special appearance at the event.

Other corps scheduled to perform include The Academy from Tempe, Arizona; Blue Knights from Denver; and Santa Clara Vanguard from Santa Clara, California.

Local California corps in the lineup include Gold from San Diego, Golden Empire from Bakersfield, Impulse from Buena Park, Mandarins from Sacramento, Pacific Crest from City of Industry and Sacramento Freelancers.

The Seattle Cascades from Washington and Vessel from San Dimas, California, round out the roster.

The lineup is listed alphabetically and subject to change, according to event organizers.
