Pasadena is in for a few more cloudy and chilly days before temps begin climb and skies clear midweek starting Tuesday, National Weather Service forecasters said.
By next Thursday the City of Roses should be sunny and 72, they predicted.
“There is a good chance of a warm (perhaps very warm) and dry holiday” over the Christmas day weekend, they said.
But in the meantime, dry weather will continue into next week with temperatures remaining below normal through Tuesday, with daily highs hovering at or near 63 daily.

Today: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 63. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. North northeast wind around 5 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 64. North northeast wind around 5 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 63.
Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 69.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 46.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.
