Football Hall of Famers Arrington, Lott to Speak at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl Stadium Oct. 2

College Football Hall of Fame members LaVar Arrington and Ronnie Lott will headline the Rose Bowl Quarterbacks Club’s third meeting of the 2025 season Thursday, Oct. 2, at 8:30 a.m. PST in the East Locker Room of the Rose Bowl Stadium.

The “Legends Day” event, jointly hosted by the Rose Bowl Stadium and the Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, will honor notable past players and coaches from college football history, according to a press release from Rose Bowl Stadium.

Arrington, a Penn State legend and current radio and podcast host, joins Lott, who holds the rare distinction of being inducted into the California High School, College Football and NFL halls of fame. Former Los Angeles Times editor and columnist Chris Erskine will moderate the discussion featuring personal stories, expert insights and engaging discussion from the two football legends.

The Quarterbacks Club meeting continues the organization’s robust fall speaker series at the historic 1922 Pasadena venue, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark. The stadium will host Olympic events for a third time in 2028, having previously hosted the 1932 Olympic Track Cycling event and 1984 Olympic Soccer matches.

The club’s next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 20, featuring NFL Hall of Fame members Anthony Munoz and Jim Porter in a roundtable discussion focusing on the NFL Hall of Fame. Three additional speaker events are planned through the fall, with most taking place in the East Locker Room. The December luncheon will move to Brookside Golf Club.

The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation, established in 2010 as a 501(c)3 organization, works to preserve and enhance the stadium. The foundation launched its first capital fundraising campaign, “Lasting Legacy,” in December 2024 to support preservation and fan enhancement projects at what the organization calls “America’s Stadium.”
