The Pasadena Historic Preservation Commission has scheduled a special meeting and site visit to tour Roosevelt School at 315 N. Pasadena Avenue, which is currently under consideration for landmark designation. The meeting, set for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 4:30 p.m., will allow commissioners to view the property firsthand as part of the consideration process.
The special site visit is in addition to the commission’s regular meetings, which are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. For this event, participants will meet in front of the Roosevelt School building in Council District 1.
The nine-member commission’s agenda for the special meeting consists of just three items: roll call, the tour of the property, and adjournment. The site visit will focus specifically on evaluating the school building for potential landmark status, though the agenda does not detail what criteria will be considered during the tour.
