The CCC to HBCU (California Community Colleges to Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Fall Caravan will bring representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities to Pasadena City College for immediate admission decisions.
The event, officially titled “On the Yard: HBCU Caravan College Fair: HBCUish,” will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the college’s quad area.
Representatives from multiple Historically Black Colleges and Universities will conduct on-site admissions reviews at the campus, located at 1570 E. Colorado Boulevard, according to information posted on the PCC website.
Students must register in advance through Eventbrite to reserve their spot and are encouraged to bring 10 copies of their unofficial transcripts from the LancerPoint system.
The event will feature additional incentives including gas cards, Southwest Airlines tickets, and scholarship opportunities, alongside food trucks and promotional merchandise for attendees.
PCC counselors will be available during the fair to provide one-on-one consultations with students about their transfer prospects and academic standings.
Students who complete their event-related To-Do item in PCC Connect will be eligible for a $10 Primo Nosh meal card, with pickup instructions to be provided later.
