Four suspects broke into a home Saturday night while the residents were inside, according to police.
Lieutenant Keith Gomez of the Pasadena Police Department said that officers responded to a burglary in progress at 9:01 p.m. on February 1 in the 700 block of Fairfield Circle.
The homeowners, a 50-year-old man and his 40-year-old wife, heard intruders inside their residence and immediately locked themselves in a bedroom before calling 911, Gomez said.
By the time police arrived, the suspects had already fled from the home. Gomez said that officers found a point of entry where the intruders had smashed a rear glass door to gain access.
The suspects were wearing dark clothing and ski masks, Gomez said. He added that there were four individuals involved in the break-in.
According to Gomez, nothing was taken from the home and no injuries were reported in the incident.
