Pasadena-based interfaith nonprofit Friends In Deed will convene an informational meeting Thursday about its new Emerging Professionals Advisory Council, aimed at assisting emerging professionals in understanding how they can contribute to the organization’s mission of providing support services to homeless and at-risk individuals.
The nonprofit organization offers various services, including a food pantry, a women’s room, and a bad weather shelter, among others, catering to the needs of local homeless and at-risk people.
To foster engagement and collaboration, Friends In Deed will host an informational gathering about the Emerging Professionals Advisory Council Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
The event will take place at We Olive, located at 32 E. Colorado Blvd. Wine and light snacks will be provided
