The Pasadena Fire Department marked a start of the holiday season on Wednesday by continuing one of its most cherished traditions: installing Christmas lights at the local Ronald McDonald House facility, where families stay while their children receive medical treatment at nearby hospitals.

The annual volunteer effort represents a heartwarming part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to community service beyond emergency response.

The installation at 763 S. Pasadena Ave. marks another chapter in the Department’s long-standing relationship with this important institution, which has served as a cornerstone of support for families navigating medical challenges since 2004.
