Pasadena will experience a warming trend over the next several days with temperatures climbing from 79 degrees Thursday to the mid-80s by the weekend, National Weather Service forecasters said.

The warming pattern will establish itself across the San Gabriel Valley as high pressure maintains dry conditions throughout Southern California. No precipitation is expected during the forecast period.

Thursday will begin with patchy fog before 11 a.m. and cloudy conditions that gradually clear through the afternoon. Winds will shift from light southeast to southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday’s high will reach 82 degrees under similar morning fog conditions, followed by Saturday’s temperature near 83 degrees with mostly sunny afternoon skies. Sunday will see the warmest conditions with highs reaching 86 degrees.

The persistent marine layer will deliver patchy fog each morning before 11 a.m., but afternoons will feature increasing sunshine. Morning visibility may be reduced during fog periods.

Weekend weather will bring mostly sunny skies after morning fog clears both Saturday and Sunday. The typical morning marine layer pattern will continue followed by afternoon clearing.

Wind conditions will remain light and variable throughout the period. Morning hours will feature calm to light southeast breezes before shifting to southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph during afternoons.

No weather advisories or warnings are currently in effect for the Pasadena area. The stable weather pattern presents no significant hazards.

The extended forecast through next Wednesday shows temperatures holding steady in the mid-80s with continued morning fog patches and afternoon sunshine. Monday through Wednesday will feature similar conditions with highs around 85 degrees.

The temperature readings represent typical late-June patterns for Pasadena, with forecasted highs slightly below seasonal averages for valley locations.
