Los Angeles County has started mailing Sample Ballot Books to registered voters for the Nov. 5 General Election, officials announced.
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk office said the books contain essential information about voting options, deadlines, local candidate statements, and ballot measures. They also include information and impartial analyses for countywide and local ballot measures.
The mailing process will continue through Oct. 26, with Vote by Mail ballots set to be distributed beginning Oct. 3.
Due to distinct printing and production processes and legal timelines, some voters may receive their Vote by Mail ballots before their Sample Ballot Books.
Starting Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, voters can access online voting materials at LAVOTE.GOV/ISB.
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk offers election materials in 18 different languages. Voters can request materials in their preferred language by returning the Language Request Form in the Sample Ballot Book or by calling (800) 815-2666, option 3.
