Lake Avenue Church Hosts Student Ministry Lunch

Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena will host a Sunday lunch for its student ministry on June 29 at 11 a.m.

The event will take place in the Warehouse FL 300 at the church’s location on 393 N. Lake Ave. The lunch is organized by Student Ministries.

Lake Avenue Church’s Student Ministries focuses on building relationships between high school students and adult mentors. The program relies on volunteer leaders to guide students in their faith journey.

“We want to be a student ministry where Christ is exemplified for our students, so that our community can be a place of safety to find transformation as we journey together,” according to the Ministries’ mission statement.

The church encourages volunteers to join the team. Leaders seek people who love God, scripture and young people.

The ministry emphasizes that it is “not just led by a few paid staff but a team of dedicated volunteers committed to helping high school students experience God.”
