A lawyer who has been assisting people with special needs and their families will lead a free lecture on Self-Determination Law at the Professional Child Development Associates office on Tuesday, January 27, 6:00 p.m.
Joseph Lee, managing partner at the Law Offices of Lee &Â Baghoomian, will discuss the basics of Self-Determination Law, how it will affect regional center clients, the pros and cons of the program, and how to take advantage of the program.
The Law Offices of Lee & Baghoomian specializes in creating customized plans for families with special needs individuals.

The Professional Child Development Associates is a non-profit organization whose focus is on child development. It serves children from birth to 18 years of age, and families, when there is any concern regarding development or behavior, including children with a diagnosis of autism, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, premature birth, genetic syndromes, and other developmental or behavioral concerns.
It is led by professionals who provide evaluation, consultation and intervention services, under the direction of developmental pediatrician Diane Cullinane, M.D.,  and child development specialist Mimi Winer, R.N., M.S.
