Steve Madison was reelected on Tuesday night. Madison ran unopposed and will continue to represent local residents in District 6 on the City Council.

Madison has represented District 6 since 1999, an area encompassing West Pasadena neighborhoods above the Rose Bowl and in Southwest Pasadena, significant portions of Old Pasadena, the Art Center College of Design, the Convention Center & Civic Auditorium, much of the Arroyo Seco, the historic Colorado Street Bridge, and the John K. Van de Kamp Bridge.

He is currently Pasadena’s Vice-Mayor.

This election marks Madison’s sixth consecutive victory without the need for a runoff election. He received 3,249 votes in the latest count of Tuesday’s votes.
