Singer-actress Mariah Carey and ex-husband Nick Cannon were seen celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday with their twins, Morrocan and Monroe, at Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena.
The twins looked delighted to be spending the day with both parents as they posed for group snaps.
Carey wore a mini-dress at the Kidspace Museum visit. She captioned one of the snaps “Celebrating today in honor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior at Kidspace Children’s Museum #Dream #ThankYouDrKing.”
Carey and Cannon have both spoken openly about co-parenting the twins. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight last year, Carey said it wasn’t hard to make the arrangement work.
“He’s a good guy. It’s not that hard to make it work. Now we can laugh, and joke, and do the good parts of when we had a relationship,” Carey said.
Cannon said he and Carey have put any past drama aside and were working on co-parenting harmoniously. He added “it’s all rooted in love.”
“You put the kids first,” he said in a U.S. Magazine report, “but then when you understand that you have unconditional love for these human beings and you want the best existence for them, then you put whatever differences you may have had aside.
Morrocan and Monroe turn seven this April.
