Motorcycle Passenger in Critical Condition After 210 Freeway Accident Saturday

A female motorcycle passenger was trapped under a vehicle and not breathing when Pasadena Fire Dept. paramedics arrived at a 9:22 a.m. accident on the eastbound 210 Foothill Freeway near Fair Oaks Ave. Saturday morning, authorities say.

Paramedics were able to restore the woman’s pulse as they transported her to a local hospital.  She remains in critical condition, Pasadena Fire dept. spokesperson Lisa Derderian said.

The motorcycle driver was also seriously injured and transported to a hospital.

The California Highway Patrol declared a Sigalert as a result of the accident.

The identities of the accident victims is not known. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
