RealDefense, a cybersecurity company headquartered on South Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena, is demonstrating its security platform this week at RSAC 2026 in San Francisco, the cybersecurity industry’s largest annual conference.
The Pasadena-based company, which says its products are used by more than 100 million people worldwide, builds tools that are embedded directly into the products of technology partners rather than sold as stand-alone software to consumers, according to a company press release distributed March 23 via Business Wire. The approach allows PC manufacturers, telecom providers, and software companies to deliver security and privacy protections to their customers as built-in features.
At its booth at the Moscone Center, RealDefense is highlighting four categories of solutions: device security and performance optimization, privacy protection, identity and fraud protection, and real-time monitoring and alerts, according to the press release.
The company’s platform uses what it calls real-time telemetry to detect device, privacy, and fraud risks, then delivers what it describes as “moment of truth” notifications — alerts paired with recommended solutions that appear when the company’s system identifies a problem on a user’s device.
“Cybersecurity is most effective when it’s delivered in context, at the moment a user needs it,” Gary Guseinov, CEO of RealDefense, said in the press release. “By embedding our platform into the customer experience and using real-time telemetry to surface the right solution, our partners can protect users while creating meaningful monetization opportunities.”
RealDefense was founded in 2017 and has completed six acquisitions, assembling a portfolio of brands that includes iolo System Mechanic, SUPERAntiSpyware, RemoveMe, and Support.com. The company reports 267% revenue growth, which earned it a place on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2024. It was also named a 2025 Greater Los Angeles Top Workplace.
The company says its partner program has generated more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue. It works with partners across consumer software, fintech, telecom, and global technology platforms, and says those partners collectively reach more than one billion end users, according to the press release.
RealDefense’s press release also noted the growing role of artificial intelligence in desktop computing, stating that platforms such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT are increasing activity at the endpoint and placing new demands on device security and performance — challenges the company says its platform addresses.
RealDefense is located at 150 South Los Robles Avenue Suite 400. The RSAC 2026 Conference runs through Thursday, March 26, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. RealDefense is exhibiting at Booth N-5185.
“We protect more than 100 million users worldwide, and that doesn’t happen by accident,” Guseinov said in a separate company statement last year. “It happens because our team shows up every day committed to solving real problems for real people.”
