Pasadena Engineering Firm to Lead Design for $990 Million Indo-Pacific Military Infrastructure Contract

Company will support design-build projects in more than 15 countries under Pacific Deterrence Initiative

East Pasadena-based Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK), a leading global provider of consulting and engineering services, announced Tuesday it has been selected as the lead designer on a $990 million multiple-award contract from the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific.

Awarded to MVL USA Inc., the contract supports accelerated infrastructure delivery for the Pacific Deterrence Initiative across more than 15 countries. Tetra Tech will serve as the designer of record as part of MVL USA’s team.

The scope includes architect-engineer services for design-build projects involving new facilities, repair and renovation work, and upgrades to buildings, bridges, roads, airfield runways, hangars, fuel storage systems and other critical military base infrastructure.
