
The eight-member team includes Jessica Martinez, Kyle Lucas, Sana Hussain, Parth Surti, Gene Han, Federico Magnorsky, Michael Singerman and Keavin Ly. All are active participants in the APA Pool League in Pasadena, where they compete in weekly amateur billiards play.
The championship match was live-streamed and titled “2025 APA 9-Ball World Championship Final.”
The APA World 9-Ball Championship was part of the organization’s annual World Championships, which drew nearly 14,000 amateur players and awarded more than $1.3 million in total prize money. According to an APA press release, the event is one of three major tournaments the association hosts annually, alongside the APA Poolplayer Championships and the U.S. Amateur Championship. Together, the tournaments distribute nearly $2 million in cash and prizes each year.
Headquartered in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, the APA sanctions the world’s largest amateur pool league, with more than 250,000 members across the United States and Canada. It is recognized as the governing body of amateur billiards, having established the sport’s official rules, formats and handicap systems.
