



Rhythmic Academy of Pasadena teams earned medals in two group divisions as the 2025 Rhythmic Development Program Championships concluded Sunday in West Palm Beach, Florida. The local teams’ performances highlighted a weekend where Region 1 and Region 3 shared regional team honors.
The academy’s Advanced group, featuring Pasadena’s Scarlett Qian alongside Hillary Chen of Chino, Emily Hansen of Los Angeles, Gloria Li of Arcadia, Angelina Novikova of Upland, and Caitlyn Tran of Arcadia, captured the national title with a score of 47.017.
Complete results were published June 9, 2025, showing the top three individuals and groups in each division were awarded at the championships.
The academy’s Beginner group earned silver medals, scoring 40.184. That team included Jasmine Gan of Arcadia, Alice Huang and Bethany Huang of Temple City, Elsa Huang of Glendora, Sophia Khachatrian of Alhambra, and Seraphina Yang of Brea.
The championships featured three individual levels (6, 7, and 8) and three group divisions (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) with separate competitions for each.
In regional team competition, Region 1 continued as champions in Levels 6 and 7, posting scores of 400.750 and 471.050 respectively. Region 3 claimed the Level 8 regional title with 435.800.
Individual all-around champions were crowned across the three levels. Aidemi Keneshalyeva of Chicago’s Vitrychenko Academy won Level 6 with 43.150, followed by Sophia Panchenko of Houston Rhythmic Gymnastics (43.000) and Yeva Ozhevan of Bulanin Rhythmic Gymnastics in Roseville, California (42.850).
Makartz Adele from Burlo Gymnastics claimed the Level 7 title with 49.000, ahead of Gan Judy from Pacific Stars Rhythmic Academy (48.900) and Rebecca Sparagna from Burlo Gymnastics (47.100).
Elizaveta Beneicke of SK Rhythmic Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, won Level 8 with 51.950. Fiorella Varesano of Rhythmic Art in Davie, Florida, placed second (50.050), while Aimee Sandu of Nevada Rhythmic Academy in Las Vegas took third (49.400).
Prima Rhythmic Gymnastics from Georgia won the Beginner group title (41.500) and Rhythmic Academy of Los Angeles captured the Intermediate crown (42.684).
Champion Rhythmics from San Diego placed second in Advanced group competition with 39.733, while Pittsburgh Northstars earned third place (39.300).
The two-day event took place June 6-8 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, continuing the annual tradition of crowning national champions in rhythmic gymnastics development levels.
