The Rose Bowl Aquatics Center (RBAC) is celebrating its 33rd anniversary on Friday, June 16, with an all-day event. The day will feature a community coffee and surprises throughout the day, according to the RBAC.
The event is part of the ongoing “Water Safety For All” campaign, supporting water safety initiatives and financial assistance. The non-profit RBAC has served Pasadena and nearby areas since 1990 with various aquatic programs.
“We are incredibly proud to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center,” said Jimmy Francis, President and Executive Director of the RBAC. “Throughout the years, we have remained dedicated to our mission of providing water safety education, outstanding aquatics programs, and fostering a vibrant community of water sports enthusiasts.”
RBAC offers swimming lessons, water safety education to Pasadena’s 3rd graders, learn-to-swim programs for all ages, and aqua fitness classes. Its efforts have positively impacted many, promoting water safety, nurturing athletes, and fostering a love for water activities in people of all ages.
