Pasadena City College, PCC Extension is excited to announce the offering of a 40-hour Home Health Aide (HHA) Program designed for individuals already holding the designation of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

The new offering, through a partnership with a leading program provider, ProTrain, begins Saturday, September 14 with the 20-hour classroom portion of the program. A 20-hour externship follows the classroom component.

A Home Health Aide provides basic, personal care and health-related services to a variety of individuals and patients requiring more assistance than family and /or friends are able to provide. An HHA is responsible for recording services performed, as well as for noting individual/patient conditions and progress; and for discussing findings with the case manager or supervisor.
