Pasadena police and Fire Dept. officials report low numbers of arrests and emergency medical calls during Monday’s Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game.
Lt. Sean Dawkins said there was one arrest during the Rose Parade for public intoxication.
Dawkins said there six arrests at the Rose Bowl Stadium associated with the Game, three for public intoxication, one for simple assault and public intoxication, one for sexual battery and one for DUI.
Pasadena City spokesperson Lisa Derderian said during the Rose Parade, the Pasadena Fire dept. responded to 19 emergency medical service requests along the parade route. 11 patients were treated on scene and eight were transported by ambulance to hospitals.
“Considering the thousands of people that line the parade route these are relatively low numbers,” Derderian said.
