The Rose Bowl Stadium is preparing to host FC Barcelona vs. LA Galaxy Tuesday, July 21 in the International Champions Cup. With one of the largest crowds expected this year for a stadium event, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
Stadium officials estimate nearly 90,000 fans are expected to converge onto the Rose Bowl Stadium and it is imperative that fans take note of the following:
Heavy traffic, congested streets and limited parking are anticipated around the stadium for this match. The Rose Bowl Stadium encourages fans to arrive prior to 5:00 p.m. to help avoid traffic delays due to commuter traffic in addition to event traffic.
Do not rely on your GPS system for directions into or out of the Rose Bowl Stadium area. No one freeway exit is better than another. There will be temporary road closures for some residential streets and temporary no parking areas. Obey all signs and follow the directions of all traffic safety officers on scene.

The Rose Bowl Stadium anticipates that limited parking will be available for purchase on the day of the event and that parking at the stadium will sell out.

Free Shuttle Rides & Other Transportation Tips
Take advantage of the FREE shuttle busses. To accommodate high demand, there will be adjacent off-site parking available in addition to FREE shuttle rides to and from the stadium. Shuttles leave from Parsons Engineering in Old Pasadena with parking available at Parsons parking lot on Fair Oaks Avenue and Walnut Street as well as in surrounding lots throughout Old Pasadena. Shuttles will run before, during and after the match, starting at 3 p.m. Shuttles will have their own dedicated route in and out of the stadium to avoid delays. Shuttles are free although parking charges may apply in Downtown Pasadena.
Carpooling is crucial as well. The small difference between four versus three people riding per car results in 8,000 fewer vehicles on the road, greatly streamlining traffic and parking.
Public transportation is a great alternative for getting to the show. Fans wishing to use Metro Rail should take the Gold Line to the Memorial Park Station, on the corner of Holly Street and Raymond Avenue–just two blocks from the Parsons Engineering shuttle lot.
FANFEST
Fans arriving to the Rose Bowl Stadium early can enjoy the International Champions Cup FanFest, which will feature food, beverage, interactive activities and music.
