Triple Digit Temperatures Ahead For the Weekend

The weekend will start a warming trend in Pasadena as high pressure builds aloft. Triple digit heat is possible, says the National Weather Service, with Sunday expected to be the hottest day. Triple digit heat could prevail over Southwestern California through much of next week.

Friday will be a bit foggy in most of Pasadena before 10 a.m. and then will be cloudy before gradually clearing in the afternoon. Highs will be near 91 with a light variable wind from the southwest five to 10 miles per hour.

Friday night will be clear with lows around 66 and a southwest wind around five mph.

Saturday is going to be sunny and hot, with a high near 96 and a calm wind becoming south southwest around five mph in the afternoon.

Saturday night will have clear skies, with a low around 68.

Sunday will be hotter, with a high near 100, while lows Sunday night will be around 71.

Monday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 100.

Monday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 71.

Tuesday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 99.

Tuesday Night – Mostly clear, with a low around 70.

Wednesday – Sunny and hot, with a high near 98.
