Update: Pasadena Police Investigate Fatal Traffic Collision On Maple St East Of Allen Ave., Roads Closed

Pasadena Police are still involved in a fatal traffic collision on Maple St. east of Allen Ave. The police department Traffic Section investigators are on scene conducting the investigation.

Road closures:

As of 11:30 p.m. the Allen Ave. exit off ramp from the westbound 210 remains closed. Westbound Maple St. is closed at Linda Rosa Ave. The closure is expected to continue for several hours while the investigation is conducted.

Incident:

On January 10th, at 8:35 p.m. the police department received a report of a vehicle collision on Maple St. near Allen Ave. Officers arrived on scene and found a single vehicle with major collision damage on the north side of Maple St. east of Allen Ave.

There were two victims. A male driver, approximately 30 years old, who died at the scene. A female passenger, approximately 20-25 years old, was transported to a local area hospital and remains in serious condition.
