The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Pasadena effective through noon Monday, saying the city could see northwest wind gusts of 20 to 35 mph and a ten-degree temperature drop to boot.
The high will hit only 61 degrees and tonight’s low, with wind chill factored in, will fall to into the 30’s.
The gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, forecasters said.
Tuesday will be a bit colder, NWS said.
Winds in the nearby San Gabriel Mountains will be fierce, with northwest winds 30 to 50 mph and gusts of up to 70 mph.
