A 33-year-old woman was wounded this morning in a shooting in Pasadena and hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury.
Police received several calls of shots fired in the 500 block of East Washington Boulevard, near El Molino Avenue, about 12:15 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her thigh lying in the apron of a driveway, according to Lt. Marcia Taglioretti of the Pasadena Police Department.
Evidence suggests that the victim may have been inside a vehicle when she was shot, according to Taglioretti.
A motive for the shooting was not determined, and no detailed description of the shooter was immediately available.
