Women At Work, a Pasadena nonprofit that helps clients reach their full employment and earning potential, has moved to 2555 E. Colorado Blvd., Suite 204.

The offices are closed until Monday, September 30, to allow time for furniture to be put in place, phone and computer systems to be installed, space to be organized and the website to be updated.

The new location, just east of Altadena Drive, has more flexibility of space to better meet the needs of clients who walk through the door every day for Job Club, computer classes, resume critiques, sessions with career counselors, occupational testing/career assessments, special workshops and much more.

Judith Carey-Fisher began serving as interim executive director on Sept. 23. She has more than 25-years of experience working in public, government and nonprofit sectors with a focus on education and workforce development and more than 15- years of experience fund development. Since 2012, she has been a fund developer for Women At Work.

Robin McCarthy, Women At Work’s executive director for seven years, resigned recently to seek further professional growth in a leadership position with a Pasadena based nonprofit.

Over the next three months the Women At Work board of directors will conduct a search for the next executive director who will lead the agency into the future.

In the meantime, Women At Work will continue to do what it has done best for 34-years: positively impacting the lives of clients on a daily basis.
