Women’s Treatment Center Receives $50,000 From Local Alliance

A Pasadena treatment center focused on women’s addiction recovery received $50,000 from a local nonprofit organization this month.

The San Marino Junior Alliance presented the donation to Casa Treatment Center at the alliance’s annual meeting. The gift continues a funding relationship that has lasted more than 50 years.

Casa Treatment Center operates as the only facility in Southern California designed specifically for women seeking addiction treatment. The center was founded in 1967 and provides residential, outpatient and sober living programs.

The facility treats hundreds of adult women annually. Its programs address addiction, trauma and mental health disorders through individualized treatment plans.

“This generous gift from the San Marino Junior Alliance allows us to continue providing life-saving care to women in need,” said Nely Meza-Andrade, Casa’s CEO and executive director. “Their decades-long commitment to our mission has had a profound impact on the recovery journeys of countless women and their families.”

The San Marino Junior Alliance dedicates all its fundraising proceeds to supporting Casa’s operations. The nonprofit organization was created exclusively to raise money for the treatment center.

Casa Treatment Center serves women from diverse backgrounds through comprehensive programs that focus on their unique life experiences. The center maintains residential, outpatient and sober living services for the Pasadena community and surrounding areas.
