A Colder Week With a Hint of Rain Ahead for Pasadena

Today and the next few days through Tuesday will be sunny and warm, but Wednesday takes a  wintry turn and temperatures will drop six or seven degrees and rain is possible.

Wednesday and Thursday both will be partly sunny days both with the threat of rain.

Friday and Saturday should see the return of sunny skies again, but this time with a complete temperature shift to the lower 60s.

Here is the week’s day-by-day play-by-play for Pasadena from the National Weather Service:

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 69. East northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Northeast wind around 10 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 71. North northeast wind around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 44.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of rain after 10 a.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.

Wednesday Night: A chance of rain, mainly after 10 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Thursday: A slight chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 63.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

Friday: A slight chance of rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 41.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.
