Tim Wise will speak about “Using Privilege to Fight Prejudice” at All Saints Church’s Rector’s Forum on Sunday, April 28, at 10:15 a.m. Wise came to national attention in 1988 when he was a student at Tulane University and a leader in the campus anti-apartheid movement. He argues that, although advances have been made in race relations, institutions in the U. S. have been set up to continue to foster and perpetuate white privilege.

Tim Wise is the author of seven books, including Between Barack and a Hard Place: Racism and White Denial in the Age of Obama and Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Politics and the Retreat from Racial Equality. For information call (626) 796-1172. All Saints Church is at 132 N. Euclid Avenue, Pasadena, 91101 (across Euclid from Pasadena City Hall).
