With warmer weather and elevated fire risk following the recent Eaton Fire, the City of Pasadena is encouraging residents to stay safe, informed, and prepared. Residents are encouraged to follow safety guidelines and stay updated on changing weather conditions, Red Flag alerts, and other emergency notifications by visiting the City of Pasadena on social media and on the City website.
“The heat is on….whether you are attending the Just Like Heaven Music Festival at The Rose Bowl Stadium or celebrating mom with outdoor activities, stay hydrated with electrolytes and avoid drinks like alcohol and caffeine that cause dehydration, wear loose fitting/breathable clothing, hats and sunscreen and seek medical attention right away if you experience any heat related symptoms,” said Pasadena Fire Chief, Chad Augustin.

During emergencies, the City will also use its government cable access TV station, KPAS, to help broadcast emergency information. The broadcast is also streamed live on the City’s website, CityOfPasadena.net/Media, and on the KPAS (“Pasadena Media”) website at PasadenaMedia.tv.
