Pasadena and South Pasadena police officers arrested three suspects from the Los Angeles area on Wednesday after the suspects were seen by residents casing homes in the area of State Street in Pasadena. That neighborhood has been plagued by a rash of burglaries in recent weeks.

The suspects saw officers and fled the scene on foot and in a vehicle, however; they were ultimately caught. Pasadena detectives determined the suspects were members of a Los Angeles gang responsible for multiple burglaries in Pasadena, South Pasadena and Glendale.

Pasadena police say that Dajuan Bryson, 23, of Los Angeles; Cedric Horn, 20, of Los Angeles;  and Andre Norwood, 21, of Los Angeles were arrested and charged with residential burglary.

Detectives are continuing their investigation and believe these individuals may be responsible for other crimes throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

“Enhancing public safety and the apprehension of individuals responsible for crimes is our mission. We accomplished this with a collateral effort between police departments and the help of diligent residents who monitor their neighborhoods and notify police when individuals are seen acting suspicious,” said Chief Phillip L. Sanchez.

Anyone with information regarding similar crimes that occurred in Pasadena are asked to contact Detective Andrea Deleon at (626) 744-7312 or Pasadena Police Department dispatch at (626) 744-4241.
