Cybersecurity Webinar by Pasadena Chamber Will Offer Insight Into Digital Threats and Data Protection

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and 16 other chambers in the San Gabriel Valley are hosting a free cybersecurity webinar on Thursday, Aug. 15, starting at 12 noon and focusing on protecting data from digital threats.

Justin Tsui, president and CEO of TeamLogicIT of Pasadena and 1MEDiX, will present “Cybersecurity: Crooks, Creeps and Conmen (and Conwomen) Want Your Data and Your MONEY!”

Tsui, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, is an IT executive with in-depth experiences in IT Management and Software Development for healthcare and retail industries.

The online Lunch-and-Learn event will cover topics including data protection, cybercriminal profiles, ransomware, phishing schemes, employee awareness, and the role of artificial intelligence in cybercrime.

The event is part of an ongoing series organized by the Valley Area Chamber Executives (VACE), an informal group of chamber leaders from the San Gabriel Valley.

VACE meets monthly to discuss mutual concerns, collaborate on regional events, and share ideas to enhance the chamber experience for members. The Lunch-and-Learn webinar series occurs on the third Thursday of each month. These seminars are free and open to everyone.

The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Association, founded in 1888 as the Board of Trade, currently serves over 1,250 members. Its primary purpose has been the enhancement of the economy, business climate and the quality of life in Pasadena.
