A status conference is scheduled Thursday, June 12, for former “General Hospital” actress Haley Pullos, who pleaded no contest to DUI charges involving a wrong-way crash on the Ventura Freeway in Pasadena that left her and another driver injured.

The hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. in Department D at Pasadena Courthouse, 300 E. Walnut St.

Pullos, now 26, was sentenced in July to five years probation, 200 hours of community service and a nine-month alcohol program. She served three months in jail following her April 29 plea to a felony DUI charge.

The crash occurred April 29, 2023, shortly before 1:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the 134 Freeway near Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena. Pullos, then 24, was driving westbound in eastbound lanes when she collided head-on with a 23-year-old man. Both drivers suffered major injuries and were hospitalized.

Pasadena firefighters used the jaws of life to extract Pullos from her vehicle.

“Pullos was ultimately arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving the wrong way on a freeway, causing injury,” the California Highway Patrol said.

Prosecutors said Pullos’ blood alcohol content was 0.25% at the time of the accident, more than three times the legal limit. Investigators determined she was also involved in a hit-and-run crash in Pasadena before entering the freeway.

In June 2023, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Pullos with one felony count of DUI causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08 BAC causing injury and one misdemeanor count of hit-and-run resulting in property damage.

Pullos was also ordered to complete a mental health treatment program, pay $8,260 in restitution to the victim and not drive for one year.

Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Terry Smerling warned her: “God forbid you cause an accident in the future and somebody dies, you will be charged with murder.”

Pullos had played Molly Lansing-Davis on “General Hospital” since 2009. Her role was temporarily recast after the crash.

The other driver, Courteney Wilder, was initially in critical condition and filed a lawsuit seeking damages.

“Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety,” said Dan Melnick, Pullos’ attorney.
