Artistic Entertainment Services opens its fresh flower float decorating process to the public today at Rosemont Pavilion in Pasadena, marking the start of Deco Week for the 2025 Tournament of Roses Parade.

AES, which began dry decoration on Nov. 9, oversees 16 float entries, including those from previous Sweepstakes Award winner San Diego Zoo, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, City of Torrance, and the two Rose Bowl Game teams.

The event offers visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how the floats are crafted for the Rose Parade.

Decorators apply natural materials such as seeds, bark, fruits, vegetables, grasses, and flowers to the parade entries, transitioning from dry materials to fresh flowers during this final phase.

Public viewing requires tickets purchased online at sharpseating.com, with admission set at $20 per person. Children aged 5 and under can enter free of charge.

The facility, located at 700 Seco St. in Pasadena will be open daily through Dec. 31, with decoration work continuing from early morning until late evening.

For those interested in participating, Artistic Entertainment Services welcomes volunteers aged 13 and older to assist with float decoration, including climbing scaffolding to decorate float tops.

Volunteers must pre-register and commit to a minimum four-hour shift.

Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in lots near Rosemont Pavilion and Jackie Robinson Baseball Field.
