The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens announced all its gardens will be closed on Wednesday in the aftermath of heavy rains “for the safety of our visitors.”
The Huntington said it took the safety precaution due to saturated soils, the possibility of winds, and several fallen trees on the grounds.
The statement said the Jade Court Cafe and Freshwater Pavilion will also be closed.
However, all galleries will remain open with the exception of Studio for Lodging the Mind. The 1919 Cafe and Red Car coffee shop will remain open.
Visitors with tickets for Wed., Jan. 11, can rebook by contacting the Huntington Library at tickets@huntington.org; members can self-cancel tickets via the cancellation link in their order confirmation email and make a new reservation for another day.
