Pasadena Fire Department’s Urban Search and Rescue Teams rescued a woman who fell in Eaton Canyon and suffered lacerations to her knee and leg Saturday evening about 5:29 p.m.
Authorities said the injured woman was reportedly in the area south of the bridge at the canyon’s northern end.
Arriving units established an Incident Center at Pinecrest Drive.
A rescue team from USAR 32 entered the canyon at the trailhead at Pinecrest and hiked south as additional fire department personnel hiked north from the McCurdy Nature Center in the canyon’s southern end.
Thee rescue teams contact with the victim, provided care, and assisted the victim to the Pinecrest Drive trailhead. The victim was suffering a laceration which was treated by paramedics.
The victim transported herself to the hospital for further treatment.
