La Canada Presbyterian Church’s second in a series of Jazz Vespers will be held on Sunday evening, April 10 at 5:00 p.m. The community will gather in the intimacy of the Cook Prayer Chapel for an extraordinary experience of sacred jazz in-the-round, presented by the Jack Lantz Trio. Join LCPC for a time of joy, energy, meditation and liberation, as the trio presents hymns and sacred music in an upbeat jazz-style.
“The musical style, setting and simple liturgy will provide a calm way to finish Sunday afternoon and prepare ourselves for the challenges of the week ahead,” Lantz said. “We invite the community to join us for an extraordinary celebration of joy, energy, meditation and liberation.”
Jazz Vespers will be presented in the round in the intimacy of the Cook Prayer Chapel, which is at the south end of the church campus. No reservations are necessary and no admission will be charged, although a free-will offering will be received.
La Canada Presbyterian Church is located at 626 Foothill Blvd. For additional information, email jazz@lacanadapc.org.
