Man Suffers Life-Threatening Gunshot Wound in North Raymond Shooting, Police Say

A 35-year-old Pasadena man sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg Monday afternoon in the 2000 block of North Raymond Avenue, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Domino Scott-Jackson.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:51 p.m. on October 27 after receiving a single call reporting the incident, Scott-Jackson said. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and immediately summoned paramedics.

The Pasadena Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital for emergency treatment, Scott-Jackson confirmed. No updates on the victim’s condition were available as of Tuesday morning.

Pasadena’s Robbery-Homicide Unit initiated an investigation at the scene, but no suspect description has been released. Scott-Jackson noted that there were no ShotSpotter alerts and no shell casings or surveillance footage indicated in the initial report.
