Metro holds an in-person community meeting Tuesday on construction of the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit project, the 19-mile line that ends in Pasadena and where work began in April, according to the City of Glendale.
The meeting runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Adult Recreation Center, 201 E. Colorado St. Glendale says the session is an open house, allowing attendees to stop by at their convenience.
Announced topics are construction locations and timing, typical construction activities and hours, temporary traffic, parking and pedestrian impacts, and how the public will be kept informed.
Free parking is available. Spanish interpretation and ADA accessibility will be provided, Glendale says; other in-person language services require 72 hours’ notice at 323-466-3876.
Metro describes the project as a 19-mile corridor with 22 enhanced stations connecting North Hollywood, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock and Pasadena, using zero-emission electric buses. The certified 2022 environmental record describes the route running from the North Hollywood B/G Line station to Pasadena City College and using a combination of dedicated-lane and mixed-flow segments, with mixed-flow operation anticipated in Pasadena.
Glendale says construction began in Pasadena in April 2026 and that work in Glendale was expected to begin as early as late August. Metro says construction broke ground in April 2026 and that construction schedules are subject to change.
A virtual meeting covering the same information was held Monday. Metro says a recording will be posted on the project page after Aug. 18.
