A cold storm is arriving in Pasadena Saturday bringing a mix of rain and wind through Sunday, forecasters said.
Dry conditions are expected to put in a brief appearance by Monday but keep those umbrellas handy as another round of rain is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dry weather returns for Thursday and Friday.
The NWS predicted the heaviest rain today through Sunday morning, with some scattered showers lingering into Sunday. 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain is predicted for valley areas, more in the foothills.
Winds will kick up a bit with gusts of up to 25 mph possible in Pasadea, the National Weather Service predicted.
Looking ahead to next week, another storm system will move in from the coast, bringing a threat of rain Tuesday through Wednesday night.
