The drive received an early boost from within the department. At her 16th birthday party, Sasha Sepulveda, daughter of Pasadena Fire Captain Robert Sepulveda, requested gifts for the Spark of Love Toy Drive instead of personal presents. Her effort resulted in 150 toys donated to the campaign
New this year, supporters may also contribute online by purchasing items through the PFD Spark of Love Toy Drive Amazon Gift Registry, with gifts shipped directly to the department.
Community members can participate by dropping off donations at any Pasadena Fire Station or by visiting Amazon’s “Find a Gift Registry” section and searching “PFD Spark Of Love Toy Drive 2025.” All toys collected will be distributed through vetted Pasadena nonprofits to ensure they reach local families in need.
The department emphasized that public generosity helps ensure local community children and families experience the warmth and joy of the holiday season, with all donated toys reaching them through vetted Pasadena nonprofits.
Now through December 24, donations can be made at all Pasadena Fire Stations.
