Pasadena Museum of History is pleased to announce the launch of its all-new website (www.pasadenahistory.org) which went live on July 9, 2014.
The completely redesigned website was created to provide a more user-friendly experience, with improved navigation and functionality. It offers a comprehensive view of the Museum’s multi-faceted offerings – from the changing exhibits, public programs, and tours, to its extensive archives and collections, research opportunities, and the period buildings and historic gardens that comprise the two-acre campus. The fully-integrated interface will make it easy for visitors to access event and calendar information, admission and ticketing details, hours of operation, directions, and other practical issues. Enhanced visuals will better showcase all aspects of the PMH experience.
““History is an ongoing venture. It may seem surprising for an institution that has spent much of its 90 years looking into, interpreting, and preserving the past, but PMH was at the forefront of internet technology when we debuted our original website. And today we are proud to continue to embrace the latest advancements to further engage our online visitors,†notes Executive Director Jeannette O’Malley.
Founded in 1924 to preserve and share the rich history, art, and culture of Pasadena and neighboring communities, Pasadena Museum of History has developed into one of the country’s premiere institutions of its size. PMH is an independent nonprofit cultural institution funded by generous gifts from foundations, corporations, businesses, individuals, and our members. The mission of the Museum is to promote an appreciation of history, culture, arts, and sciences relevant to Pasadena and adjoining communities.
