Pasadena Police arrested one suspect and are searching for a second suspect after a hit-and-run accident that occurred Sunday night at Arroyo Parkway and Fillmore Street.
At approximately 7:45 p.m., officers responded to the scene of a two-car car accident.
Arriving officers saw two fleeing suspects.
With the help of other officers and a Pasadena helicopter, a containment was established. One suspect was eventually located and taken into custody. The second suspect was not found.
The vehicle the suspect were driving was determined to be a stolen car that had been taken in a carjacking in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department responded and took custody of the first suspect, who Pasadena police identified as Luis Flores-Pineda, 18, of Carson.
The victim of the hit-and-run was transported by Pasadena Fire Dept. paramedics to a local hospital with minor injuries.
