Pasadena Water and Power (PWP) will hold an interactive community Open House on Thursday, June 26, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Victory Park Recreation Center, 2575 Paloma Street. The hands-on event aims to foster face-to-face dialogue with customers and gather community input on water and electric services and future PWP programs. Residents can attend at any point during the scheduled time and engage at their own pace.

“Community engagement is essential to ensuring PWP meets the needs of the residents, businesses and visitors we serve. We are committed to creating opportunities for open dialogue and community collaboration,” says David Reyes, PWP’s new General Manager. “This event is an opportunity for PWP customers to meet the team, learn about their utility, and provide feedback on the future of the utility.”

The open house will feature multiple themed stations where attendees can engage directly with PWP staff. Topics include rates and billing, clean energy initiatives including solar, infrastructure priorities, available rebates, and how reliable energy and water are provided to the community. Light refreshments will be provided.

Visitors will also have the chance to meet and speak with David Reyes, the newly appointed General Manager of Pasadena Water and Power. The flexible format allows community members to explore topics of personal interest at their own pace.

Pasadena Water and Power serves more than 65,000 electricity customers within Pasadena and delivers water to nearly 38,000 households and businesses in Pasadena and adjacent communities in the San Gabriel Valley. As a community-owned utility, Pasadena Water and Power is a not-for-profit public service owned and operated by the City of Pasadena for the benefit of its customers and the community.

For event details and to RSVP, residents can visit PWPweb.com/OpenHouse. Those needing accessibility accommodations should contact (626) 744-7311 or CSC@CityOfPasadena.net, preferably at least 72 hours in advance to help ensure availability.
